It is with heavy hearts we announce the death of Shenan Dawn Reese.

Shenan was born February 9, 1967, in Los Angelas, California.

She passed away on July 11, 2026, in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

She was not a high school scholar, nor did she have any crazy jobs.

Shenan was a real life like Mary Poppins. There was nothing that Shenan could not build or fix.

She enjoyed cooking, baking, sewing, reading, and spending everyday with her dog, Spot and with friends and family.

Her natural nurturing qualities made everything she did so much more memorable!

She hated sappy, lovely, mushy, gushy words, but she was much of all these things and more.

She had the biggest heart; her love could stretch for miles beyond being in your presence.

Her gentle hands and words of wisdom were always welcomed by everyone who knew her, it was always a safe and warming place to go to.

Shenan is preceded in death by her parents, Linda and Richard Reese; and her aunt, Georgia Brandon.

She was a mother to Justin Ford and Gabriella Baker.  A sister to Charlene King, an aunt to Monica Garcia, Ajay Garcia, and Angel Mouton.  A great-aunt to Lazarus Garcia, Karyna Garcia, Izayah Garcia, Uhneeya Benevidez, Mozez Garcia, Lorenzo Garcia, Summer Presley, Athena Davis, Kaydence Mouton, and Emma Lawrence.  A best friend to Jen Ulrich; childhood friend to Terri Lawrence; and a very special friend to David Streeter.  Shenan also leaves to morn many friends and family.

She was and still is very loved and missed by so many.
