Obituary

Sheila K. Patrick, 48, of Ligonier died Thursday, January 7, 2016, at 5:15 p.m. in Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne.

She moved to this area 24 years ago, coming from Gas City.

Ms. Patrick last worked as a mail carrier for the United States Postal Service in Rome City. Prior to that she worked at Tenneco Automotive in Ligonier for several years. She also had served on the Noble County Sheriff Reserves.

She was born April 13, 1967, in Marion to Thomas LeRoy and Carolyn (Collier) Owen. They survive in Gas City.

Also surviving are a son, Jacob (Amie) Patrick of Kendallville; a daughter, Alisha Patrick of Florida; two grandchildren, Wyatt Ruch and Caitlin Ruch; two brothers, Bruce Owen of Marion and Kevin Owen of Mississippi; a sister, Wanda Moore of Howe; her significant other, James Prough of Ligonier; and her beloved dog, Jackson.

Graveside services will be Tuesday, January 12, 2016, 3 p.m. at the Olive Branch Cemetery in Pekin, Indiana.

Calling is Monday, January 11, 2015, from 2 to 6 p.m. in the Full Gospel Revival Center, Rome City with Pastor Glenn Patrick and Pastor Larry Patrick officiating. An evening funeral service will be held at 6 p.m.

Preferred memorials are to the family.
