Sharon Nadine Miller, 85, of Hudson, Indiana, died Saturday, January 20, 2024, at Lutheran Life Village in Kendallville.
She was born April 13, 1938, in Ashley, Indiana, to Guy and Gladys (Spangler) Lepley.
On January 19, 1957, in Ashley she married Jim L. Miller. He preceded her in death on May 2, 2012.
She retired from the Indiana Unemployment Office in Auburn and was a farm wife.
Mrs. Miller was a member of the Ashley United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women.
Sharon was an avid Cubs baseball fan and enjoyed listening to country music. She dearly loved her grandchildren.
Surviving are two daughters, Debra (Dan) Merriman of Ft. Myers, Florida, and Kari (Norm) Wright of Pleasant Lake; two sons, Gary Miller of Pleasant Lake and Greg (Mindy) Miller of Hudson; six grandchildren, Lindsay (Adam Bailer) Gillen, Derik (Jeanette) Miller, Damon Miller, Zach (Robyn) Wright, Jessica (Brice) Ambler, and Devin (Bryan) Howse; 11 great-grandchildren, Breyton, Eastton, Kipper, Maddie, Barrett, Taylor, Karleigh, Korbyn, Kolstyn, Braxton, and Owen; a great-great-grandson, Nolan; a sister, Karen Dilley of Auburn; and a brother-in-law, Bob Kugler of Auburn.
She was also preceded in death by eight brothers, Winfred Lepley, Udell Lepley, Ted Lepley, Bud Lepley, Junior Lepley, Dewayne Lepley, Lynn Lepley, and Jim Lepley; and two sisters, Waneta Tagtmeyer and Twila Joyce Myers.
Visitation will be Saturday, January 27, 2024, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service on Sunday.
A celebration of life service will be Sunday, January 28, 2024, at 2 p.m. at Young Family Funeral Home, Hudson-Ashley Chapel, 612 North Main Street, Hudson with Marilee Skinner officiating.
Private burial will be in Circle Cemetery near Hudson.
Sharon's funeral service on Sunday will also live stream on the Young Family Funeral Home Facebook page at 2 p.m. for those unable to attend in person.
Memorials may be directed to Stillwater Hospice or the donor's choice.
