Memorial Service: Friday, September 5, 2014 - 11 a.m. in Sweet Church near Skinner Lake ********************************************************************************************* Sharon L. Ihrie, 73, of Wolcottville died Sunday, August 24, 2014, at 6:45 p.m. in her residence following a two week illness.

She was a lifetime area resident. She and her husband wintered in Englewood, Florida, for the last ten years.

During her lifetime she was a licensed practical nurse, worked at Disney World, and was a waitress at the Lake of the Woods Restaurant.

Sharon had a green thumb and enjoyed planting flowers.

She was born February 17, 1941, in Noble County to Donald Weimer and Margaret Heitz.

On October 6, 1999, in LaGrange she married Kenneth C. "Butch" Ihrie. He survives in Wolcottville.

Also surviving are four sons, Robert (Beckey) Moore of Wawaka, Daniel (Judy) Moore of LaGrange, Michael Moore of Greensburg, and Pat (Judy) Moore of Wolcottville; five grandchildren, one great-grandchild; three sisters, Linda Growcock of Albion, Christina (Larry) Albright of Kalamazoo, Michigan, and Patty Ann (Butch) Lambert of Fort Wayne; and two stepsisters, Mary Lee Miller of New York and Bonnie Jean Patterson of Trenton, New Jersey.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A memorial service will be held Friday, September 5, 2014, at 11 a.m. in Sweet Church near Skinner Lake.

Young Family Funeral Home, Kendallville Chapel, 222 South State Street, Kendallville is assisting the family with arrangements.
