Obituary

Sharon Lee Haskins, 71, of Brownsburg died Monday, February 25, 2013, in her residence following a lengthy illness.

She was a 1959 graduate of Kendallville High School, and received her Master's Degree from Indiana University.

Having grown up in Kendallville, she was a familiar face at the Riley Street Grocery which was owned and operated by her parents.

She retired after 30 years as a laboratory technologist specializing in hematology at the Indiana Medical Center in Indianapolis.

She was born March 11, 1941, in Chicago, Illinois, to Richard D. and Marjorie E. (Isbell) Haskins. Her parents preceded her in death.

Surviving are a sister, Loretta Albertson of Fort Wayne; and two nephews, Joshua Albertson of Indianapolis and Courtney Albertson of Indianapolis.

There will be no calling or services.

Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery, Kendallville.

Young Family Funeral Home, Kendallville Chapel, 222 South State Street, Kendallville is assisting the family with arrangements.
