Obituary

Shannon Michael Bostick, 25, of LaGrange and formerly of Rome City died Friday, November 11, 2016, while duck hunting at Waldron Lake.

He had lived in LaGrange for three years, coming from Rome City.

He had attended East Noble High School.

Shannon was a Labrador Retriever breeder and a duck hunter.

He was born March 8, 1991, in Kendallville to Roy and Beth (Bostick) Sizemore. They survive in Rome City.

Also surviving are three daughters, Breanna Holt of Kendallville, Braelynn Certain of LaGrange, and Alice Bostick of LaGrange; a sister, Samantha Sizemore of LaGrange; a brother, Aaron Sizemore of LaGrange; maternal grandmother, Laura Bostick of LaGrange; maternal grandfather, Ted Bostick of Howe; and partner and love of his life, Ashley Certain of LaGrange.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Jean Garza; paternal grandfather, Roy Sizemore; and maternal great-grandparents, Ted and Bethanna Bostick.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, November 16, 2016, at 11 a.m. in the Independent Baptist Church in South Milford with Pastor Earl Bolen officiating.

Calling is Tuesday, November 15, 2016, after 2 p.m. at the church.

The family's wishes are for memorial donations to go to the funeral home for his funeral expenses.

Young Family Funeral Home, Wolcottville Chapel, State Road 9 North, Wolcottville is assisting the family with arrangements.
