Scott Gordon, 61, of Kendallville, Indiana died Saturday, August 10, 2024, at his residence.

He was born April 22, 1963, in Fort Wayne to Ronald and Nancy J. (Deetz) Gordon.

He worked as a welder at Assmann Corporation of American in Garrett.

Surviving are his father, Ronald Gordon of Fremont; two brothers, John Gordon of Kendallville and Roger (Cindy) Gordon of Avilla; four nephews, Andrew Gordon of Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin, Austin (Dana) Gordon of Genoa City, Wisconsin, Colin (Lesley) Gordon of Indianapolis, Ethan (Hannah) Gordon of Avilla; and a niece, Arinn Gordon of Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Nancy Gordon; two brothers, Michael W. Gordon and Paul A. Gordon; a sister, Carla Diane Gordon; and his stepmother, Dee Gordon.

A celebration of life will be Saturday, October 12, 2024, from 2 to 6 p.m. at Avilla American Legion, 205 Ley Street, Avilla.  Food and drinks will be provided.

Young Family Funeral Home, Kendallville Chapel, 222 South State Street, Kendallville is assisting the family with arrangements.
