Sandra Kay Smith, 63, of Hudson, Indiana, died Sunday, January 9, 2022, at Parkview Randallia Hospital in Fort Wayne. She was born September 26, 1958, in Angola, Indiana, to Richard Smith and Freida (Pairon) Adkins. Sandra was a 1976 graduate of Prairie Heights High School. She worked for SPI Security as a security guard at RR Donnelley in Angola. She attended Independent Full Gospel Church in Ashley. Sandra loved to shop, especially when it came to anything Vera Bradley. She was a fan of the Detroit Tigers and Snoopy. Surviving are her companion, David Sawvel of Hudson; a son, Cody (Valerie Parrish) Smith of Hudson; a brother, Douglas (Sue) Smith of Albion; a sister, Sharon (Woody) Caywood of Fort Wayne; and a sister-in-law, Marlene Smith of Hudson. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Steven Michael Smith. There will be no visitation or services. Memorials may be directed to the family.
