Obituary

Sandra M. DePew, 50, of Kendallville died Friday, January 20, 2012, at 1:30 p.m. in Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne.

She was a lifetime area resident. She graduated from East Noble High School in 1980.

Sandra had been employed as a cashier at WalMart in Kendallville for the last nine years.

She was born September 6, 1961, in Kendallville to Edward and Mary (Warnick) Osborne.

Surviving are two daughters and a son-in-law, Desiree Smith of Laporte and Destiny Hess and Clint Hess, Jr. of Kendallville; a son, Jason Smith of Cape Canaveral, Florida; two grandchildren, Clint Hess, III and Aubrey Hardesty; her mother, Mary Kneubuhler of Kendallville; and four brothers and two sisters-in-law, Richard and Shirley Kneubuhler of Kendallville, Randall and Diane Osborne of San Marcos, Texas, Bill Osborne of West Allis, Wisconsin, and David Kneubuhler of St. Louis, Missouri.

She was preceded in death by her father and her stepfather, Dale Kneubuhler.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, January 26, 2012, at 7 p.m. in Young Family Funeral Home, Kendallville Chapel, 222 South State Street, Kendallville.

Calling is Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. in the funeral home.
