Obituary

Ruthene McDaniels, 50, of Kendallville died Thursday, December 27, 2007, at her residence.

She was a lifetime area resident, and had worked at T.D. Shea in Kendallville for a number of years. She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and other family members.

She was born August 12, 1957, in Kendallville to Raymond & Elsie (Hunter) Ousley. Her mother survives in Kendallville. Also surviving are Keith Cleveland of Kendallville, whom she has made her home with for the past 16 years; three daughters and one son-in-law, Aimee Morse of Fort Wayne, Chasity & Travis Bolen of Kendallville, and Renae McDaniels of Kendallville; eight grandchildren, Joshua, Cody, Thomas, Kristin, Cassandra, Jake, Monica, and Megan; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Garrietta Hamilton-Christian & Ron Christian of Corunna, Mary Kay & Charles Rea of Kendallville, and Phyllis & Shannon Terry of Kendallville; and one brother and sister-in-law, Billy & Terri Ousley of Morton, Illinois.

She was preceded in death by her father, Raymond Ousley, a brother, Gary W. "Larry" Hamilton, and one grandson, Kile Alan Stanley.

Funeral services will be Sunday, December 30, 2007, at 1:30 pm at the Young Family Funeral Home, Kendallville Chapel, 222 South State Street, Kendallville, with Pastor Charles Mosley officiating. Burial will be in Sweet Cemetery. Casketbearers will be Joshua Morse, Billy Ousley, Renae McDaniels, Chasity Bolen, Travis Bolen, and Jeremy Stanley.

Visitation will be Saturday, December 29, 2007, from 2-5 pm at the funeral home. Preferred memorials are to the family.
