Ruth E. "Libby" Roush, 78, of Wolcottville, Indiana, died on Friday, March 3, 2023, at 3:14 p.m,. in the Neurospine and Pain Center at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

She was born on March 12, 1944, in Trainer, Pennsylvania, to Robert Andrew and Dorothy Mildred (Harris) Jackson. They preceded her in death.

On Aug. 31, 1968, in Trainer, she married John R. Roush. He preceded her in death on Oct. 8, 2015.

Mrs. Roush was a Paraprofessional with Westview School Corporation for more than 40 years before her retirement.

Ruth was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She dearly loved her family.

She recently attended Open Door Community Church in Wolcottville.

Surviving are a son, Jon E. (Cassidy) Roush, of Wolcottville; a daughter, Reneé E. Roush Lozano, of Wolcottville; two grandchildren, Monica R. (AJ) Alexander, of Upland and Cole A. (Bonnie VanHoozer) Lozano, of Wolcottville; three step-grandchildren, Conner Hunter, of Goshen, Kiel (Ciara) Hunter, of LaGrange, and Alex Hunter, of New York; four great-grandchildren, Ema Alexander, JJ Alexander, Ryan Lozano, and Ayca Lozano; three step-great-grandchildren, Amelia Hunter, Hadley Hunter, and Kohen Hunter; two cousins, Peggy Ann Minchella, of Delaware and Bernadette Moore, of Maryland; a sister-in-law, Lois Jackson, of Jenison, Michigan; a brother-in-law, Robert (Dena) Roush, of Shipshewana; two nephews, Kevin (Laura) Jackson, of Michigan, and Mark (Vicki) Jackson, of Michigan; two nieces, Andrea and Cari; and a great-nephew, Dean Lochner, of Upland.

She was also preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy C. Jackson; and a brother, Robert L. Jackson.

Funeral services will be Friday, March 10, 2023, at 11 a.m., at Young Family Funeral Home, Wolcottville Chapel, S.R. 9 North, Wolcottville, with Pastor Keith Perry officiating.

Burial will follow at Woodland Cemetery, Wolcottville.

Calling is Thursday, March 9, 2023, from 4-7 p.m., at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service on Friday.

Preferred memorials are to Topeka Elementary School.
