On September 24, 1960, in Butler she married Jerry L. Hamman of Hamilton. He survives in Kendallville. They were honored to celebrate 64 years of marriage and were looking forward to celebrating their 65th anniversary in September.
Mrs. Hamman had worked at Lincoln National Life, Sears, Johnson Publishing, and Arden's.

She was preceded in death by two grandchildren; siblings, Herbert, James, and June; and her beloved cats, Blackie I who was 18 years old, and Blackie II who was 22 years old. Both of her cats are buried at Pet Rest Memorial Park in Ossian.
Private services were held at Young Family Funeral Home, Kendallville Chapel, 222 South State Street, Kendallville.
Burial was in Eddy Cemetery near Hamilton.
