Russell Keith Wolfinger, 75, of Coldwater, Michigan, died Tuesday, January 4, 2022, at the home of his son in Rome City, Indiana. He was born July 18, 1946, in Coldwater, Michigan, to Russell F. and Florence A. (Miner) Wolfinger.Russell lived in the Coldwater and Colon, Michigan, area all his life.  He had worked at Grumman Olson in Sturgis, Michigan, until his retirement. Russell enjoyed his coca cola, Milky Way candy bars, and popcorn.  He also loved fishing, hunting, and mowing lawn on the lawnmower that he loved most of all.  Spending time with his sons was a highlight for him.  Being quite stubborn at times, he had a heart of gold.  His family loved him very much and he will be greatly missed. Surviving are two sons and a daughter-in-law, Tod and Tracy (Smith) Wolfinger of Rome City, Indiana, and Brad Wolfinger of Coldwater, Michigan; three grandchildren, Taylor, Ashley, and Lex Wolfinger all of Coldwater, Michigan; four great-grandchildren, Orin and Oakley Wolfinger of Indiana and Brooklyn and Brenton Wolfinger of Coldwater, Michigan; four brothers, Don (Charlotte) Wolfinger, Dale Wolfinger, Stevie Wolfinger, and Leon Wolfinger all of Coldwater, Michigan; and the mother of his children, Stephanie "Stevie" Sester of Coldwater, Michigan. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Mike Wolfinger. A gathering of friends and family will be held this summer at Water Works Park in Coldwater, Michigan, to celebrate his life.
