Obituary
Russell Thomas Cox, 62 of Avilla died Tuesday, May 5, 2020 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne.
He was born January 25, 1958 in Fort Wayne to Curtis T. and Martha (Greider) Cox. They preceded him in death.
Mr. Cox moved back to the area in 2008 from Illinois to help care for his parents.
Surviving are two sons and a daughter-in-law, Christopher (Autumn) Cox of Bristol, Wisconsin and Nicholas Cox of Trevor, Wisconsin; four grandchildren, Sam Perry, Allie Cox, Jack Cox, and Charlotte Cox; a sister, Sharon Abts of Springville, Indiana; and two brothers, Gary Cox of White Bear Lake, Minnesota and Greg Cox of Fort Myers, Florida.
There will be no visitation or funeral services.
Young Family Funeral Home, Kendallville Chapel, 222 South State Street, Kendallville is assisting the family with arrangements.
