Obituary

Ruby M. Trowbridge, 91, of Kendallville died at 1:10 P.M. Thursday, September 20, 2007 at Shepherd of the Hill in Kendallville. Mrs. Trowbridge was a lifetime area resident. She was a housewife. Ruby was born May 29, 1916, in Noble County, Indiana to William & Hazel (Gillespie) Strouse. They preceded her in death. She married Victor W. Trowbridge on June 22, 1939, he preceded her in death May 21, 1968.

Surviving are three sons and daughters-in-law, Paul & Brenda Trowbridge of Westfield, IN, Victor & Linda Trowbridge of Columbia City, IN, and Thomas & Cindy Trowbridge of Kendallville; eight grandchildren David, Todd, Kevin, Kari, Karla, Kim, Vicki, and Hazel; eight great grandchildren with three on the way; and tow sisters, Delores Young of Avilla, and Betty Jane Shanton of Kendallville. She was preceded in death by a brother Russell Strouse, and a grandson Michael Trowbridge.

Services will be at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, September 22, 2007 at Young Family Funeral Home Kendallville Chapel with the Rev. Chris Mosley officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 Noon until the time of service.

Memorials are to Shepherd of the Hill Alzheimer's Unit or the Grace Christian Church in Kendallville.
