Calling: Wednesday, June 26, 2013 - 4 to 8 p.m. in the church and one hour prior to services on Thursday. ***************************************************************************************** Ruby J. Sizemore, 74, of LaGrange died Monday, June 24, 2013, at 2 p.m. in Miller's Merry Manor, LaGrange.
She moved to this area at the age of three, coming from Kentucky.
Mrs. Sizemore worked as an accounts secretary for Godfrey Marina in Elkhart.
She was a member of the Stroh United Baptist Church.
She was born October 6, 1938, in Knott County, Kentucky, to Irvin and Elsie (Napier) Coburn. In 1956, she married William "Bill" Sizemore, in Stroh. He preceded her in death on February 20, 2010.
Surviving are two daughters, Pamela Sizemore of LaGrange and Tammy Rasler of Angola; four sons, Brian Sizemore of Ontario, Brad (Helen) Sizemore of Rome City, Bart Sizemore of LaGrange, and Bruce Sizemore of LaGrange; a stepson, Ed (Veda) Sawyer of LaGrange; ten grandchildren; four step grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mabel "Tommy" Wicker of South Carolina.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Goldie Minton and Lois Tillman; and three brothers, Carl Coburn, Luther Coburn, and Jim Coburn.
Funeral services will be Thursday, June 27, 2013, at 1 p.m. in Liberty Free Will Baptist Church in Wolcottville with Pastor Rick Davis, Pastor Randolph Wicker, and Pastor David Bolen officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery.
Calling is Wednesday, June 26, 2013, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the church with an evening service at 7 p.m. Calling is also one hour prior to services on Thursday.
Preferred memorials are to the Stroh United Baptist Church.
Young Family Funeral Home, Wolcottville Chapel, State Road 9 North, Wolcottville is assisting the family with arrangements.
