Obituary

Rosemary L. Wolff, 68, of Butler and formerly of Kendallville died Friday, June 6, 2008, at 8:47 a.m. in the Laurels of DeKalb Nursing Home in Butler. She had resided there for three months, and had previously been at Shepherd of the Hill in Kendallville.

Mrs. Wolff, a lifetime area resident, graduated from Kendallville High School in 1957. She had managed the Elks Lodge restaurant and worked at the V&A Restaurant, both in Kendallville, and worked in the restaurant of the Greenhurst Country Club. She attended the Lutheran church.

She was born August 24, 1939, in Fort Wayne to Carl Rose, Sr. and Luzina (Fisher) Rose.

Surviving are three daughters and a son-in-law, Debra Wainwright of Gilbert, South Carolina, Diana and Mark Boots of Wolcottville, and Cindy Pfafman of Avilla; a son, Martin Wolff of Kendallville; five grandchildren, Jessica Rogers, Jenna Ross, Samantha Boots, Michael Wolff, and Kenny Pfafman; a brother, Carl Rose, Jr. of Kendallville; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and 11 brothers and sisters.

Graveside services will be Wednesday, June 11, 2008, at 10 a.m. at Lake View Cemetery, Kendallville, with Chaplain Roger W. Olson of Shepherd of the Hill officiating.

There is no viewing.
