Rose Marie (Jackson) Grogg, 73, of McClish Lake, Hudson, Indiana died unexpectedly on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at her residence.

She was born February 2, 1951, in Garrett to Cecil and Delores (Gaetz) Jackson.

For many years she owned and operated a beauty salon, La Belle Coiffuer, out of her home in Auburn. She then worked at ITT Aerospace in Fort Wayne. She was also a waitress at several local restaurants. Being a beautician to her friends and family then became a pleasure of hers.

Rose Marie was a member of St. Mary of the Angels Catholic Church in Hudson and the Fremont Moose Lodge 2387.

She loved spending time with family, friends, and neighbors. She enjoyed golf cart rides, sewing, cooking for family and friends, living at the lake, and volunteering at the Moose.

Surviving are two daughters and sons-in-law, Dawn and Terry High of Hudson, Sherri Ramer of Auburn and Matt Ramer of Auburn; seven grandchildren, Greg Woodward, Paige Phelps, Amber Bell, Clint (Tati) High, Amanda (Seth) Myers, Spencer (Kierstin) High, and Linzee Ramer; 19 great-grandchildren; a brother, Edward (Polly) Jackson of Colorado; and several nieces and nephews including a nephew who was like a son to her, Joe Jackson of McClish Lake.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and four brothers, Tom Jackson, John Jackson, Lawrence Jackson, and Jerome Jackson.

Funeral services will be Friday, September 27, 2024, at 3 p.m. at Young Family Funeral Home, Hudson/Ashley Chapel, 612 North Main Street, Hudson.

Visitation will be on Thursday, September 26, 2024, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. and one hour prior to the funeral services on Friday, all at the funeral home.
