Ronnie Dean Roark, 74, of Kendallville, Indiana died Friday, October 25, 2024, at Lutheran Life Villages in Kendallville.

He was born August 5, 1950, in Linton, Indiana to Clifford and Marie (Fitzpatrick) Roark.

Ronnie honorably served in the U.S. Air Force Reserves.

He had worked as a lineman outdoor equipment operator.

He was a member of the Kendallville Eagles.

Ronnie enjoyed NASCAR, Indy 500 racing, and was an avid sports fan.

Surviving are his lifetime companion of 40 years, Suzanne Walkup of Kendallville; two daughters, Kimberly Roark-Hurt of Franklin and Amy Roark of Indianapolis; three grandchildren, Naleeya Roark, Wayne Hurt, and Cody Ward; a sister-in-law, Brenda Roark of Vincennes; and his faithful dog, Daisy.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Dannie Roark.

Memorial services will be Monday, October 28, 2024, at 3 p.m. at Young Family Funeral Home, Kendallville Chapel, 222 South State Street, Kendallville with Chaplain Ken Weaver officiating.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the memorial service on Monday, also at the funeral home.
