Calling: Saturday, January 19, 2013 - 10-11 a.m. ************************************************** Ronald Eugene Woodcox, 82, of Kendallville died Saturday, January 12, 2013, in his residence following a lengthy illness. He has lived in this area for several years.

He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and then served in the U.S. Air Force.

Mr. Woodcox retired as a security guard for the Bureau of Motor Vehicles in New Haven.

He was born November 18, 1930, in Fort Wayne to Walter and Valma (Savage) Woodcox. On June 29, 1957, in Germany he married Florentine "Tina" Maus. She survives in Kendallville.

Also surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Monica K. and Al Prejean, of Westminster, Maryland; a son and daughter-in-law, Eric A. and Marie Woodcox of Kendallville; seven grandchildren; three great grandchildren; a sister, Shirley Humphrey of San Antonio, Texas; and a brother, Wallace Woodcox of Anderson.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 19, 2013, at 11 a.m. in the Presbyterian Chapel of the Lakes, 2955 West Orland Road, Angola with Pastor Thomas E. Smith officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Calling will be one hour prior to the services at the church.

Young Family Funeral Home, Kendallville Chapel, 222 South State Street, Kendallville is assisting the family with arrangements.
