Obituary

Roger L. Smith, 74, of LaGrange died Wednesday, April 24, 2019, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne.

He was born July 10, 1944, in Ury, West Virginia, to John V. and Lucy L. (Tyre) Smith.

On February 2, 2016, he married Lori A. (Myers) Shull.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

While in Florida, he worked in construction. After moving to Indiana, he owned and operated Pizza Plus in Stroh until his retirement.

Surviving are his wife, Lori A. Smith of LaGrange; two daughters, Carol (Wes) Konost of MacChenney, Florida, and Darlene (Richard) Delandy of St. Augustine, Florida; two stepdaughters, Lindsay (Bill) Ebert of Hudson and Sarah (Josh) Vachon of Churubusco; eight grandchildren; eight step-grandchildren; one great-grandchild and two brothers, Fred (Kathie) Smith of Palm City, Florida, and John Thomas (Suzanne) Smith of Stuart, Florida; four sisters, Cloie (Russ) Hall of Cape Coral, Florida, Delores (Mike) Gliddon of Palm City, Florida, Judy (David) Berry of Bayton Beach, Florida, and Sandy (Larry) Corliss of Dunnellon, Florida; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

There will be no visitation or services.
