Obituary

Roberta Sue Bloomfield, 53, of Avilla died Wednesday, January 6, 2010.

Ms. Bloomfield had worked at Starcraft in Topeka. She was a member of Alcoholics Anonymous in Wolcottville.

She was born July 9, 1956, in Rome, New York, to Robert and Connie (Friend) McNamara.

Surviving are two daughters and a son-in-law, Jennifer Bloomfield of LaOtto and Amanda & Timothy Newsome of Wolcottville; a son, Jason Patrick of Waterloo; seven grandchildren; her father and stepmother, Robert & Jean McNamara of Stroh; her mother, Connie Patrick of Rome City; and three brothers and sisters-in-law, Terry & Vicky McNamara of Corunna, Jay & Teresa McNamara of Albion; and John & Ann McNamara of Topeka.

She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Alta Hite and a daughter-in-law, Melissa Patrick.

Funeral services will be Saturday, January 9, 2010, at 2 p.m. in the Independent Baptist Church in South Milford, with Pastor Earl Bolen officiating. Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery, Kendallville.

Calling is Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the church.

Preferred memorials are to the family.
