Robert Ray Johnson, 62, of LaGrange, Indiana died Wednesday, November 26, 2025, at Parkview Randallia Hospital in Fort Wayne.

He was born January 8, 1963, in Gary, Indiana to Bobby Ray and Garnet (Foley) Johnson.

Robert dedicated his career to working as a machinist in manufacturing in Northwest Indiana. Outside of work, he found joy in the simple pleasures of life, casting a line while fishing, experimenting in the kitchen with his love of cooking, and cherishing every moment spent with his family and extended family. His presence brought warmth and laughter to gatherings, and his devotion to those he loved will be remembered always.

Surviving are his parents, Bobby and Garnet Johnson of Topeka; a sister and brother-in-law, Lisa and Kevin Royal of Topeka; two nieces, Keri (Nik) Dieterich of Noblesville and Kaitlyn (Erik Stutzman) Royal of Woodruff; two great-nieces, Ava Dieterich and Mia Dieterich; and several extended family members.

There will be no visitation or funeral services.
