Robert Eugene Butts, Jr., 86, of Wolcottville, Indiana, died Sunday, February 2, 2025, at his residence with his family at his side.

He was born December 15, 1938, in Sturgis, Michigan, to Robert E. Butts, Sr. and Edith Jane (Blanchard) Butts.

Mr. Butts was a tool and die maker at Industra and Albion Wire.

He was a member of the Sons of the Legion Post 381 in Rome City.

Robert enjoyed fishing, hunting, and tying flies.

Surviving are his wife of 64 years, Doris Mae (Harker) Butts; a daughter, Deb Sibert of Kendallville; and a grandson, Nathan Sibert of Kendallville.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Sandra Goad.

There will be no visitation or services.
