Obituary

Robert J. "Bobby" Burch, 65, of Kendallville died Saturday, February 18, 2017, in Lutheran Life Villages, Kendallville.

He was born September 6, 1951, in Auburn to Wendell Robert and Margaret Ann (DeLong) Burch.

He was a graduate of Angola High School, and a member of the Moose Lodge and American Legion SAL both in Angola.

He had worked as a groundskeeper at the golf course at Trine University in Angola for many years.

Bobby enjoyed fishing, ice fishing, hunting, gardening, and tending his flower gardens.

He is survived by a sister and brother-in-law, Debra and Jim Walkup of Kendallville; and a niece and her husband, Tammy and Robert Harris of Angola.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Linda Hagaman and Laurie Jean Burch; a brother, David Burch; and a nephew, Jason Hagaman.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 25, 2017, at 4 p.m. in Lutheran Life Villages, 351 North Allen Chapel Road, Kendallville with Rev. Mike Wakeland officiating.

Calling will be Saturday, February 25, 2017, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Lutheran Life Villages.

Preferred memorials are to the Alzheimer's Association, Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home, or to Lutheran Life Villages.
