Ricky M. Pardue, 70, of Hudson died unexpectedly, Sunday, June 4, 2023, in Ashley.

He was born April 5, 1953 in Kendallville to Everett and Norma (Springer) Pardue.

Ricky was an operating engineer with the union for over 30 years with various construction companies including Brooks Construction.

He was also an entrepreneur and a jack-of-all-trades. He enjoyed fishing and hunting.

Surviving are three sons, Wesley (Deborah) Pardue of Bloomington, Brad (Yvette) Pardue of Fort Wayne, and Brian (Amy Miller) Pardue of Angola; five grandchildren, Weston, Sara, Eyra, Braxton, Liam; his companion, Mary Dailey of Auburn; two sisters, Connie Pardue of Rome City and Diane (Bob Thews) Miller of Flint; and a brother, Bruce (Lisa) Pardue of Pleasant Lake.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a son, Ricky Michael Pardue, Jr.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
