Rick Wicker, 55 of Fort Wayne died Saturday March 27, 2010 in Visiting Nurse and Hospice Home, Fort Wayne.

Mr. Wicker was a truck driver for Cripes Mobile Home Transport, Laketon. He enjoyed fixing things loved working on vehicles, and was an outdoorsman.

He was born July 13, 1954 in Garrett to Frank and Minnie (Yates) Wicker.

Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law Emily and Shane Hug of Fort Wayne; four grandchildren Kelsey Lilly, Kara Lilly, Kalob Lilly, and Chloe Hug; two sisters and brothers-in-law Lena and Tim Huelsenbeck, Avilla and Pam and Tim Nance, Laketon; two brothers and a sister-in-law Ken Wicker, Florida and James and Tammy Griffey, North Manchester; and his step father, Moses Griffey, Wabash.

He was preceded in death by his father, Frank Wicker; his mother, Minnie Griffey; a brother, Dennis Wicker; and a sister, Sandra Wicker.

Funeral services will be Tuesday March 30, 2010, at 12 noon in Little Flossie Old Regular Baptist Church, Lisbon with Elders of the church officiating. Burial will be in Orange Cemetery, Rome City.

Casketbearers will be Morris Wicker, Tim Huelsenbeck, Kalob Lilly, Shane Hug, Josh Foxworthy, and Daniel Huelsenbeck.

Calling is from 9 to noon on Tuesday at the church.

Arrangements are by Young Family Funeral Home, Kendallville Chapel 222. South State Street, Kendallville.
