Obituary

Richard F. Lindley, 50, of Kendallville and formerly of Adams Lake died Tuesday, February 28, 2017, at 11:15 p.m. in Parkview Noble Hospital, Kendallville.

He was born August 30, 1966, to Richard F. and Janet (Fenker) Lindley. They preceded him in death.

He lived in Fort Wayne until the age of 11 when his parents moved to this area. He was a 1985 graduate of Lakeland High School.

Mr. Lindley worked 30 years at Essex Wire in Kendallville until their closing.

Richard enjoyed NASCAR and hanging out with his friends.

Surviving are a sister, Linda (Kevin Becker) Laisure of Adams Lake; two nephews, Devon Laisure of Fort Wayne and Bryce Laisure of Adams Lake; and his best buddy, Rex, a rescue dog.

A memorial gathering of friends and family will be Friday, March 3, 2017, from 3 to 6 p.m. in Young Family Funeral Home, Kendallville Chapel, 222 South State Street, Kendallville.

A private funeral service is planned for a later date.
