Rex Allen Wall, 72, of Hudson, Indiana, passed away Monday, February 19, 2024, at the Laurels of DeKalb in Butler.

He was born August 11, 1951, in Angola, Indiana, to Noble and Evelyn Wall.

On July 5, 1974, he married the love of his life, Patsy M. Kirk in Pleasant Lake. She preceded him in death.

Mr. Wall proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps.

He worked for Richard Klink Sand and Gravel, Lockwood Welding, TFC Canopy, and Indiana Phoenix as well as owned his own welding business.

Rex enjoyed gardening, bird watching, and feeding the birds.

He is survived by two sons, two daughters, two stepsons, two stepdaughters, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren and one brother.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Patsy Wall; his father, Noble Wall; his mother, Evelyn Hippenhammer; one brother; and a stepson.

The family would like to extend their deepest appreciation to the staff at The Laurels of DeKalb for their care of Dad and Grandpa.

Burial will be in Circle Cemetery at Hudson on Saturday, March 2, 2024, at 11 a.m. where honor guard services will be provided by the Angola American Legion Post 31.
