Rex Lower, 73, of Lagrange, Indiana, died Thursday morning, February 15, 2024.

Son of the late Luther and Sarah (Montz) Lower, Rex was born on January 20, 1951.

Rex was born and raised in LaGrange, Indiana. He grew up on his family farm, graduated from LaGrange High School, married, and had two sons. He continued to work with his father as a dairy farmer until his late 30's. Life changing health problems started at the young age of 38. Rex persisted, and was able to watch his sons grow to become men with families of their own.

Rex enjoyed spending time with his family. He was a patient and kind man with surprising humor and wit.

He is survived by his two sons, Aaron (Lindsay) Lower and Adam (Dani) Lower, and four grandchildren Chanler Lower, AbbyJae Lower, Finn Lower, and Natalie Lower. Along with his parents, Rex is preceded in death by his sister, Faye Scott.

Services for Rex will be held Monday, February 19, 2024, at 6 p.m. at Young Family Funeral Home, Wolcottville Chapel, State Road 9 North, Wolcottville. Rex's Family will receive guests before the service, beginning at 3 p.m. until the service begins.
