Service: Tuesday, March 25, 2014 - 11 a.m. in the Wolcottville United Methodist Church, 107 West County Line Road, Wolcottville

Calling: Monday, March 24, 2014 - 3 to 7 p.m. in Young Family Funeral Home, Wolcottville Chapel and one hour prior to services at the church on Monday. ******************************************************************************************* Ralph R. Wilt, Jr., 81, of Wolcottville died Saturday, March 22, 2014, in The Cedars, Leo.

He and his wife moved to Adams Lake, Wolcottville in 1963 from Fort Wayne. In 1964, they moved to Dallas Lake, Wolcottville and lived here until 2009.

Mr. Wilt was a lifelong manufacturer's representative. He was also an entrepreneur and established several successful businesses.

He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

He was a member of the Wolcottville United Methodist Church, the LaGrange Masonic Lodge, Rome City American Legion Post 381, and the Fort Wayne Scottish Rite.

He was born October 3, 1932, in Fort Wayne to Ralph R. Wilt, Sr. and Audrey M. (Reynolds) Wilt. On September 21, 1963, in Liberty Center, he marrried Marilyn Cunningham. She preceded him in death on September 11, 2009.

Surviving are a son, David Wilt of Fort Wayne; three daughters, Deborah (Michael) Barrett of McCordsville, Elizabeth Shaw of Leo, and Julie (Curt) Castetter of Jacksonville, Florida; a son-in-law, Terry Spradlin of Greenwood; 11 grandchildren, Dr. Jennifer Taylor, Julia Garcia, Lauren Milam, Jonathan Stults, Krystal Wilt, Kyle Wilt, Joshua Spradlin, Chandler Castetter, Alexandria Shaw, Abigail Spradlin, and Christian Castetter; four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Bonnie Carroll of Fort Wayne and Betsy Dixon of Fort Wayne; and two brothers, Carl Wilt of North Webster and John Wilt of Fort Wayne.

He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Kerry Spradlin on February 20, 2009, and a sister, Lois Fleck.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, March 25, 2014, at 11 a.m. in the Wolcottville United Methodist Church, with Rev. Jack Thomas officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery, Wolcottville.

Pallbearers will be Joshua Spradlin, Jonathan Stults, Christian Castetter, Chandler Castetter, David Wilt, and Curt Castetter.

Military graveside services will be conducted by Rome City American Legion Post 381, Kendallville VFW Post 2749, and Kendallville American Legion Post 86.

Calling is Monday, March 24, 2014, from 3 to 7 p.m. in the Young Family Funeral Home, Wolcottville Chapel, State Road 9 North, Wolcottville and one hour prior to services at the church on Tuesday.

Preferred memorials are to the Wolcottville United Methodist Church or the Kerry Spradlin Scholarship Fund through the LaGrange County Community Foundation.
