Phillip Eugene Weimer, 81, of Kendallville, Indiana, died Wednesday, December 27, 2023, at Lutheran Life Villages in Kendallville.

He was born August 22, 1942, in Avilla to Laura Louise Weimer.

On November 6, 1962, in Avilla he married Rita May Baxter.

Mr. Weimer retired after over 40 years as an Electrician and Machine Operator for Reliable Tool in Kendallville.

He was a member of the Kendallville Church of Christ.

He enjoyed working on televisions, computers, and going to garage sales. He also dearly loved his pets.

Surviving are his wife, Rita M. Weimer of Kendallville; two daughters, Kathy Howard of Kendallville and Vicki (Robert) Neace of Kendallville; three grandchildren, Ashley Neace, Chelsea Neace, and Greg Howard; three great-grandchildren, Madisen Howard, Ransen Howard, and Carson Wheeler; five siblings, Diana Sue Kellogg of Auburn, Juanita Hill of Kendallville, Joyce Conrad of Florida, Debbie Allen of Avilla, and Marlou Crisp of Washington.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Laura Louise Carver; a granddaughter, Kamie Maynard; and a brother, Grover Yontz.

There will be no visitation or funeral services.

Burial will take place in Lake View Cemetery in Kendallville.
