Penelope G. "Penny" McClish, 75, of Fremont, Indiana, died Monday, May 16, 2022, at her home.
She was born June 10, 1946, in Eaton, Indiana, to Joseph William and Olive Louise (New) Daugherty.
Penny moved to Wolcottville in 1994 and moved to Fremont in 2015. She dearly enjoyed her time living in Wolcottville.
She was a Mary Kay Consultant and worked at Teco in Fort Wayne. She also cleaned at the Rome City United Methodist Church and continued to do so after her move to Fremont.
She was a member of the Rome City United Methodist Church in Rome City and the Fremont Community Church in Fremont.
Penny enjoyed playing the piano and singing in the church choir at the Rome City United Methodist Church. She dearly loved volunteering at the Helping Hands Food Pantry in Rome City.
Surviving are a daughter, Alisa (Shawn) Rayle of Auburn; four sons, Joe Mock of Waterloo, Richard Chadwell of Bluffton, Bryan Chadwell of Fremont, and David Chadwell of Indianapolis; several grandchildren, including Nic, Tasha, Tanner, Justin, and Andrew; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and four sisters, Joyce Boukater, Karen Daugherty, May Fern Bowen. and Glenora Hart.
Burial will be Thursday, May 19, 2022, at 2 p.m. at Woodland Cemetery in Wolcottville.
A celebration of life service will follow at 3 p.m. on Thursday at the Rome City United Methodist Church with Pastor Jerry Burghduff officiating.
Memorials may be directed to the Helping Hands Food Pantry in Rome City.
