Paul David Herrmann, 77, of Albion, Indiana, died Saturday, January 13, 2024, at his residence.

He was born July 21, 1946, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, to Paul and Ruth (Seifert) Herrmann.

On June 23, 1973, in Fort Wayne he married Joan A. Knarr. She preceded him in death on October 25, 2022.

Mr. Herrmann was employed by Local 166 Plumbers and Fitters Union from the age of 18 until his retirement at the age of 62.

He was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Albion.

Paul was very proud to be a member of the Concordia High School class of 1964 and especially the Boys of '64.

Surviving are a daughter, Jennifer Herrmann of Sandusky, Ohio; a grandson, Malachi Herrmann; a brother, Jeri Herrmann of Albion; and his beloved dog, Baby Buddy.

A memorial service for Paul and his wife, Joan is being planned in the spring.

Young Family Funeral Home, Kendallville Chapel, 222 South State Street, Kendallville is assisting the family with arrangements.
