Patty McLain, 82, of Hudson, Indiana died Saturday, October 17, 2026 at her residence, surrounded by her family.

She was born May 21, 1944, in Angola, Indiana to Mervin and Francine (Reese) Keller.

In June 28, 1963, in Angola, she married Michael Walter McLain. He preceded her in death on September 18, 2026.

Patty had worked as a Pharmacy Technician at Hooks and CVS in Angola before retirement.

She enjoyed playing horseshoes and along with her husband went to many World tournaments.

Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Rodney and Tonoa McLain of Hudson; three grandchildren, Brittany (Roman) Motyka, Brandi (Michael) Houtz, and Brook Snyder; two great-grandchildren, Amara Houtz and Maya Motyka and a sister, Barbara (Ronald) Kuhlman of Arlington, Ohio.

She was also preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Leora Gessinger.

There will be no visitation or funeral services. Burial will be at South Scott Cemetery.
