Obituary

Patty J. Ferris, 90, of Kendallville died Thursday, February 6, 2020, at Parkview Noble Hospital in Kendallville.

She was born January 1, 1930, in Van Wert, Ohio, to Kenneth and Anna Oval (Waldron) Jerome.

Mrs. Ferris had worked as a housekeeper at St. Joe Hospital in Fort Wayne.

She was a member of Beacon Light Church in Churubusco.

Surviving are three sons, Jerry (Vicky) Ferris of Albion, James Ferris of Florida, and Louie (Connie) Noirot of Wabash; four stepdaughters; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Linda Sue (Larry) Robeson of Van Wert, Ohio, and Jill Ann (Don) Amweg of Sebring, Florida; two brothers, Newton Jerome of Michigan and Jerry (Fran) Jerome of Michigan; and a sister-in-law, Eula Rose Jerome of Convoy, Ohio.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Emerson T. Ferris and Ralph Noirot; a son, Don Zolman; and two brothers, Kenneth Bill Jerome and Jackie Wayne Jerome.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 15, 2020 at 12 p.m. at Bread of Life Tabernacle, 321 East Mitchell Street, Kendallville with Pastor Shawn Kondas officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Trinity Cemetery in Steuben County.

The family will receive friends on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the church.

Young Family Funeral Home, Kendallville Chapel, 222 South State Street, Kendallville is assisting the family with arrangements.
