Patty L. Combs, 86, of Stroh, Indiana died Thursday, August 28, 2025, at her residence with her family at her side.

She was born January 29, 1939, in Clear Creek, Kentucky to Otis and Stella (Owens) Everidge.

On January 19, 1963, in Stroh she married Morris Combs. He survives in Stroh.

Patty retired from Kraft Foods in Kendallville. She enjoyed crafting and playing Bingo. She was a member of the Stroh Church of God.

Also surviving are three daughters, Vicki (David) Paterno of Huntertown, Tami (Jay) Bailey of Stroh, and Gwen (Gary) Johnson of Mongo; four grandchildren, Julia (Eugene ) Troyer of Mongo, Natasha (Josh) Teegardin of Port Charlotte, Florida, Jaylyn Bailey of Stroh and Kaytlyn Bailey of Stroh; three great-grandchildren, Daxton Troyer, Stella Troyer, and Penelope Teegardin; a brother, Ronnie (Nan) Everidge of LaGrange; and two sisters-in-law, Colleen Everidge of Angola and Ada Mae Everidge of Angola.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Harold Everidge, Clyde Everidge, and Jimmy Everidge; and a sister-in-law, Gloria Everidge.

Funeral services will be Thursday, September 4, 2025, at 11 a.m. at Stroh Church of God, 4330 S 1175 E, Stroh, with her nephew-in-law, Pastor Jeff Matas officiating.

Visitation will be Wednesday, September 3, 2025, from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Young Family Funeral Home, Wolcottville Chapel, State Road 9, North, Wolcottville and one hour prior to the services at the church on Thursday.

Burial will be in Woodruff Cemetery near Wolcottville.

Preferred memorials are to Heart to Heart Hospice or Stroh Church of God.
