Obituary

Patricia A. Simon, 79, of Pleasant Lake died Monday, November 20, 2017, at 12:10 a.m. in Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne, following a lengthy illness.

She was born August 12, 1938, in Kendallville, to Bert and Lucille (Hope) Shultz.

On December 3, 1955 in Kendallville she married Norman A. Simon. He preceded her in death July 17, 1995.

Pat was a homemaker and had also worked as a sales associate at Wal-Mart in Angola.

Surviving are three sons, Barry (Sandra) Simon of Hamilton, Randy (Deb) Simon of Wolcottville, and Tod Simon of Indianapolis; three grandchildren, Andrew Simon of Michigan, Dr. Samantha Simon of Aurora, Colorado, and Molly Simon of Charlotte, North Carolina; three step grandchildren, Brad Valentine, Tyler (Jenna) Steigerwald, and Alycia Steigerwald; six great-grandchildren; a brother, Donald Shultz of California; a brother-in-law, Allan Simon of Avilla; and several nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Bernice Millhouse.

Memorial services will be Wednesday, November 29, 2017, at 6 p.m. at the Stroh Church of Christ, 4540 S 1100 W, Hudson, with Pastor Mike Hamm officiating. Burial will be at a later date.

Visitation will be Wednesday, November 29, 2017, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the church.

Preferred memorials are to the donor's choice.
