Obituary

Patricia A. Nissen, 81, of Wawaka, Indiana, died Monday, May 31, 2021, at Parkview Noble Hospital in Kendallville.

She was born November 29, 1939, in Noble County to Kit Carson and Florence B. "Flossie" Miller Cassidy.

On February 4, 1961, in Fayetteville, North Carolina, she married Charles S. "Chick" Nissen. He preceded her in death on September 29, 2014.

She was the first female supervisor for Kraft Foods in Kendallville, retiring after 35 years.

Patricia was happiest spending time at home surrounded by her family. She dearly loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Surviving are two daughters, Tammy (Don) Mead of Wawaka and Polly Nissen of Wawaka; a son, David (Alda) Nissen of Wolcottville; nine grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by a brother and a sister.

Funeral services will be private with Pastor Regan Ford officiating.

Burial will be at Orange Cemetery near Rome City.
