Patricia A. Logan, 95, of Avilla, Indiana, died Saturday, July 26, 2025, at Sacred Heart Home in Avilla.
She was born February 13, 1930, in LaGrange County, Indiana, to Willard and Edith (Grantham) Dickerson.
On June 6, 1948, in South Milford she married Billy L. Logan. He preceded her in death on April 15, 2000.
Mrs. Logan and her husband resided 40 years on their farm near Wolcottville.
She worked as a nurse's aide at Miller's Merry Manor in LaGrange and Kendallville Manor in Kendallville and also worked at Pent Assemblies in Kendallville.
Surviving are a daughter, Cathy A. (Don) Himes of Kendallville; a son, Ronald L. Logan of Wolcottville; four grandchildren, Lenny (Tabitha) Logan of White Pigeon, Michigan, Candy L. Treft of Nang, Vietnam, Shane M. Himes of Wolcottville, and Donald E. (Tosha Terry) Himes, III of Wolcottville; 14 great-grandchildren; and five great great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Agnes Blasius and Rose Stringfellow; a brother, Cecil Dickerson; and her daughter-in-law, Brenda Logan; a grandchild, Kim Ritchie; and a great grandchild, Lucas Logan.
Funeral services will be Thursday, July 31, 2025 at 2 p.m. at Young Family Funeral Home, Wolcottville Chapel, State Road 9 North, Wolcottville with Pastor Mike Stanley of Church of the Stone in Wolcottville officiating.
Visitation will also be on Thursday, beginning at 12 p.m. until the time of the funeral at the funeral home.
Patricia's funeral service will be live streamed on the Young Family Funeral Home Facebook page beginning at 2 p.m. on Thursday.
Burial will follow at Woodland Cemetery in Wolcottville.
Pallbearers are Shane Himes, Donald Himes, III, Daren Bortner, Gary Ogden, Ken Ward, and Daniel Ritchie.
Memorials may be directed to Church of the Stone.
