Obituary

Patricia Ann "Patty" King-DeLaRossa, 69, of San Marcos, CA, formerly of Adams Lake, Wolcottville, IN, died Sunday, June 3, 2007 in San Marcos, CA. She was born May 18, 1938, in Fort Wayne, IN. She had worked at the Lazy Susan Restaurant on Adams Lake until moving to Oceanside, CA in 1994. In 1998, she moved to San Marcos, CA. She was a member of the Moose and Eagles Lodges and was a lifetime member of the VFW and American Legion. Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, Paul & Vickie King of Rising Star, TX and Robert & Justine King of Wichita, KS; four daughters and a son-in-law, Denise & Mark Michelbrink of Avilla, IN; Kellee Overholser of LaGrange, IN; Kristina Hughes of Leesburg, IN; and Liz DeLaRossa of Traverse City, MI; 15 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; and two sisters, Dodie Schneider of Ft. Wayne, IN and Harlene Travino of Corpus Christi, TX. She was preceded in death by her husband, Don DeLaRossa on February 2, 2007. Memorial services will be Saturday, July 14, 2007, at 10:30 a.m. at the Young Family Funeral Home, Wolcottville Chapel. A luncheon will immediately follow the service at American Legion Post 381 in Rome City. "Throughout her life, Patty helped her family and friends emotionally, supported them financially and often sacrificed her own comfort for others. She was a loving and caring woman. We all love and miss her terribly." Arrangements are by Young Family Funeral Home, State Road 9 North, Wolcottville, IN.
