Patricia A. Jacob, 80, of Ligonier, Indiana died Monday, November 10, 2025, at Avalon Village Nursing Home in Ligonier with her friends at her side.

She was born February 19, 1945, in Kendallville, Indiana to Mason C. and Edna E. (Jennings) Lundy.

Pat was a domestic engineer and a caregiver to her daughter, Missy for 49 ½ years.

She was a member of Stone's Hill Community Church in Ligonier and the Christian Motorcycle Association.

Surviving are two daughters, Rachel A. Myers of Avilla and Janet L. (Shane) March of Delta, Ohio; a son, Ryan D. (Sandra) King of Wolcottville; nine grandchildren; and a sister and brother-in-law, Pamela and Richard Howell of Kendallville.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two daughters, infant, Cynthia Lynn King on March 19, 1969 and Mellissa A. "Missy" King on March 28, 2019; a son, Randy W. King; and two sisters, Barbara Sue Jacobs and Florence Smart.

Funeral services will be Thursday, November 13, 2025, at 11 a.m. at Young Family Funeral Home, Kendallville Chapel, 222 South State Street, Kendallville with Pastor Bret Frymier of Asbury/Trinity United Methodist Churches in Albion.

Visitation will also be on Thursday one hour prior to the funeral service at the funeral home.

Burial will follow in Sweet Cemetery near Albion.
