Service: Wednesday, November 13, 2013 - 2 p.m. in Young Family Funeral Home, Kendallville Chapel

Calling: Tuesday, November 12, 2013 - 2 to 8 p.m. and one hour prior to services on Wednesday in the funeral home ************************************************************************************* Patricia A. Durbin, 85, of Kendallville died Sunday, November 10, 2013, at 2:55 a.m. in Lutheran Life Villages, Kendallville.

She has lived in this area for 53 years, coming from South Bend.

She was a graduate of South Bend Central High School and Memorial Hospital School of Nursing, both in South Bend.

Mrs. Durbin was a registered nurse. She worked as a surgical nurse at Memorial Hospital in South Bend. She also worked as the industrial nurse for25 years at Kraft Foods in Kendallville.

She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Kendallville.

She was born October 7, 1928, in Mishawaka to Ralph A. and Bertha (Bair) Morrical.

On September 17, 1949, in South Bend she married Faye D. Durbin, Jr. He survives in Kendallville.

Also surviving are three daughters, Pamela (Terry) Baker of Columbia City, Teri (Kim) Rider of Kendallville, and Cindy Benassi of South Bend; four sons, F. Donley (Judi) Durbin, III of Kendallville, Jeffrey (Sally) Durbin of Angola, Scott (Ruth) Durbin of Kendallville, and Brent (Lynn) Durbin of Kendallville; 15 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; a sister, Nancy Riegle of South Bend; and a brother, J. Thomas (Jean) Morrical of Oceola.

She was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Ed Benassi; two brothers, Robert Morrical and David Morrical; a brother-in-law, Robert Riegle; and a sister-in-law, Margaret Smoak and her husband, Alva Smoak.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, November 13, 2013, at 2 p.m. in Young Family Funeral Home, Kendallville Chapel, 222 South State Street, Kendallville, with Rev. Jordy Truman of the First Presbyterian Church in Kendallville officiating. Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery, Kendallville.

Calling is Tuesday, November 12, 2013, from 2 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home and one hour prior to the services on Wednesday.
