Olive Burton, 92, of Stroh, Indiana, died Saturday, November 30, 2024, at her residence with her family at her side.

She was born August 3, 1932, in Vest, Kentucky, to Johnnie and Alonzo (Sparkman) Terry.

On July 3, 1986, in Hindman, Kentucky, she married Robert F. Burton. He preceded her in death on October 11, 2008.

Mrs. Burton retired from Coachmen Industries.

Olive enjoyed sewing, quilting, gardening, and traveling. She dearly enjoyed spending time with her family and friends at her mountain home.

Surviving are two daughters, Louann (Clifford) Collins of LaGrange and Lisa Slone of Stroh; two sons, Dave Patrick of LaGrange and Mike Watts of Stroh; a stepdaughter, Krista Pillon of Burlington, Kentucky; a stepson, Randall Burton of Van Wert, Ohio; 12 grandchildren, Tim (Angie) Collins, Patty Collins, Angie (Matt) Mullett, Amanda (Robert) Waller, Josh (Bridget) Watts, Deseray (Dustin) Hicks, Kalib (Samantha) Jackson, L.D. (Tasha) Slone, Tiffany (Skylar) Strouse, Hunter Pillon, Chase Pillon, and Andrew Burton; 22 great-grandchildren; nine great great-grandchildren; three sisters, Elizabeth Halbert of Stroh, Zella Conley of LaGrange, and Martha Slone of LaGrange; and her cat, Rowdy.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Essie Creech and Edna Terry; and five brothers, Tom Terry, Tramel Terry, Astor Terry, Olie Terry, and Howard Glen Terry.

Visitation is Wednesday, December 4, 2024, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Young Family Funeral Home, Wolcottville Chapel, State Road 9 North, Wolcottville and one hour prior to the service on Thursday. An evening service will be held at 6 p.m.

Funeral services will be Thursday, December 5, 2024, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Willie Collins and Pastor Rick Davis officiating.

Burial will follow at Mt. Pisgah Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Mike Watts, Dave Patrick, Tim Collins, Kalib Jackson, L.D. Slone, Dustin Hicks., Jacob Collins, and Josh Watts.
