Norman L. Lash, 69, of Angola, Indiana, passed away Friday, November 3, 2023, at Parkview LaGrange Hospital following a lengthy illness.
He was born August 24, 1954, in Angola, Indiana, to Otis and Eleanor (Wood) Lash. His parents preceded him in death.
On April 14, 1984, in Salem Center he married Cindy J. Christoffel.
Norman was a lifelong farmer and drove truck for the Steuben County Highway Department for 35 years.
He attended the Hudson United Brethren Church.
Norman enjoyed farming and working on his tractors. He greatly enjoyed his highway job. But, most of all, he loved spending time with his grandsons and taking them on Gator rides.
Surviving are his wife, Cindy Lash of Angola; a son, Chad (Amy) Lash of Angola; a daughter, Jenni Lash of South Bend; two grandsons, Marcus and Bennett Lash; three brothers, LeRoy (Pat) Lash of Noblesville, Richard Lash of Pleasant Lake, and Roger (Robert Young) Lash of Fort Wayne; and a sister, Adele Lash of Indianapolis.
Visitation will be Monday, November 6, 2023, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Hudson United Brethren Church, 516 North Main Street, Hudson and Tuesday, November 7, 2023, from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the church.
The funeral service will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the Hudson United Brethren Church with Pastor Craig Burkholder officiating.
Burial will follow at Flint Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Gary Shough, John Mettert, Jerry Lash, Danny Conley, Rod Perkins, and Mitch Helmuth.
