Nellie (Patrick) Keck, 80, of Wawaka, Indiana died Friday, January 3, 2025, at Parkview Noble Hospital in Kendallville.

She was born February 9, 1944, in Knott County, Kentucky to Amil and Ada (Combs) Patrick.

On April 14, 1963, in New Paris, she married Larry L. Keck.

Mrs. Keck was a homemaker.

She enjoyed cooking and loved being with her family.

Surviving are her husband of 61 years, Larry L. Keck of Wawaka; a daughter, Sheila (Michael) Monhollen of Cromwell; two sons, Kevin (Kim) Keck of Wolf Lake and Lee (Grace) Keck of Wawaka; seven grandchildren, Jessica, Amanda, Tasha, Kyle, Rachel, Leigha , and Andy; seven great-grandchildren, Hunter, Elsie, Isabelle, Penelope, Mila, Weller, and James; and a sister, Bethel Noble of Kentucky.

She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Angel Monhollen; and three brothers, Burton Patrick, Burchel Patrick, and Wallace Patrick.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at 3 p.m. at Young Family Funeral Home, Wolcottville Chapel, State Road 9 North, Wolcottville with Pastor Deanna Strombeck officiating.

Visitation will also be on Wednesday, beginning at 1 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at the funeral home.

Burial will be in South Milford Cemetery.

Preferred memorials are to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
