Naomi Fay Watson, 85, of Kendallville, Indiana, formerly of Marshall, Michigan, passed away peacefully on February 20, 2026, at Parkview Noble Hospital.

Naomi was born on September 13, 1940, to Kernie and Leatha Watson, who preceded her in death.

Naomi graduated from Marshall High School in Marshall, Michigan, with the Class of 1959. Throughout her working years, she was employed at Progressive Dynamics and Fabricators in Marshall. She later devoted many years to caring for children as the owner and operator of Country Cousins Daycare in Marshall, Michigan, where she touched the lives of many families with her kindness and dedication.

She was also preceded in death by her brothers and sisters-in-law, Robert and Doris Watson, Harlow and Maxine Watson; her sister and brother-in-law, Carolyn and Gene Logan; brother-in-law Ed Walters, her infant sisters, Marilyn and Mary, nephews Keith Walters and Craig Watson, and niece Susan Alexander.

She is survived by her loving sister, Beatrice Walters of Kendallville, Indiana, nieces and nephews, Mike and Debra Walters, Allen and Patricia Watson, Greg, Gary, and Scott Logan, Tim Watson, and Jodi Brayton.

Naomi found joy in life's simple pleasures. She loved working on puzzles, playing board games, shopping, and collecting dolls. Above all, she cherished her pets over the years, caring for them with deep affection.

In keeping with her wishes, a private family service will be held. Interment will take place at Lyon Lake Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made in Naomi's honor to a local humane shelter, reflecting her lifelong love and compassion for animals.

Naomi will be remembered for her caring heart, and the many lives she has touched throughout her years.
