Obituary

Nancy I. Krahulec, 67, of Wolcottville and formerly of Winchester died Saturday, January 12, 2019, at her residence.

She was born June 20, 1951, in Winchester to Charles and Sara (Sager) O'Brien.

On July 21, 1973, in Lakeland, Florida, she married Monte R. Krahulec. He survives in Wolcottville.

Mrs. Krahulec had worked at Westinghouse and in the cafeteria at Parkside Elementary School in LaGrange.

She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in LaGrange.

Nancy enjoyed fishing, boating, and camping. She dearly loved being with her grandchildren.

Also surviving are a daughter, Dawn (Julian) Rost of Ruskin, Florida; two sons, Mark (Jean) Krahulec of Wolcottville and Jason Krahulec of Kettering, Ohio; six grandchildren, Ashlynn Krahulec, Jacienda (James) Walters, Sierra Rost, Santana Rost, Blake Krahulec, and Lydia Krahulec; three great-grandchildren; a brother, Larry (Barbara Mealey) O'Brien of Englewood, Florida; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jim and Betty Krahulec of Winchester; and a sister-in-law, Jody (Karl) Fennig of Portland.

She was preceded in death by her father, Charles O'Brien; her mother, Sara Matthews; and her stepfather, Ora Matthews.

Funeral services will be Friday, January 18, 2019, at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 50 N 100 E, LaGrange with Father J. Steele officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in LaGrange.

Calling is one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday.

Preferred memorials are to Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana.
