Obituary

Nancy Jane Bronstrup, 94, of Witmer Lake, Wolcottville died Thursday, September 17, 2020 at the home of her daughter in Huntertown.

She was born April 9, 1926, in Lexington, Kentucky to Jerry Sherritt and Eva (Dinkle) Moreland.

On January 9, 1970 in Fort Wayne she married Robert C. Bronstrup. He preceded her in death on September 2, 2005.

Mrs. Bronstrup retired from Magnavox in Fort Wayne in 1991 after 21 years.

Nancy was a member of the LaGrange Moose 1351, American Legion Post 215 Auxiliary where she was a past president, and DAV chapter 45 in LaGrange.

Surviving are three daughters, Cindy Petric of Huntertown, Sherrie (Doug) Marker of Cape Cod, and Dawn (Jim) Hergott of Standish, Michigan; four sons, Forest James "Jim" (Pam) Hiser, III of Fort Wayne, Max Edwin (Susan) Hiser of Witmer Lake, Douglas (Lisa) Hiser of Kendallville, and Thomas (Tina) Hiser of Huntertown; 20 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchidren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a sister Francis; and a brother, Jerry Moreland.

Private family graveside services will take place at Covington Memorial Gardens, 8408 Covington Road, Fort Wayne.

Young Family Funeral Home, Wolcottville Chapel, State Road 9 North, Wolcottville is assisting the family with arrangements.
