Myrtle M. Kline, 80, of Kimmell, Indiana died Thursday, May 9, 2024, at her residence, surrounded by her family.

She was born December 29, 1943, in Kendallville to Floyd and Vivian E. (Fockler) Heltzel.

On September 20, 2002, in Albion, she married Thomas C. Kline. He preceded her in death February 16, 2004.

Myrtle retired from Silgan in Ligonier.

Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Robert Nimmo of Cromwell; five grandchildren, Cari, Brenda, Benji, Heaven, and Robert, Jr.; 12 great-grandchildren; and a sister brother-in-law, Marjorie and Steve Herendeen of Rome City; and a sister-in-law, JoAnn Heltzel of Leesburg, Florida.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; two daughters, Brenda Niles, and Laura Charles; a son, Charles Niles; two grandchildren, David Charles and Sylvia Cole; and a brother, Floyd L. "Bubby" Heltzel.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, May 15, 2024, at 1 p.m. at Young Family Funeral Home, Wolcottville Chapel, State Road 9, North, Wolcottville with Pastor Chris Lipford of Kimmell Baptist Church officiating.

Burial will be in Sparta Cemetery in Kimmell.

Visitation will also be on Wednesday, beginning at 11 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
